What is Price Checker?

Price Checker is an enhancement to easyfundraising. Price Checker lets you compare thousands of products and prices from easyfundraising retailers and narrow your search by price and category, as well as seeing delivery options and donation amounts. When you have selected the deal that suits you best, click on the retailer link to visit their site and purchase your product. Your purchase will then generate a donation for your chosen cause.

How are my donations tracked?

Price Checker is part of easyfundraising and so providing you are logged in, our system will recognise you and the donation generated by your purchases will be automatically tracked and applied to your organisation's easyfundraising account in the usual way. Do I have to register?

You don't have to register with easyfundraising to use Price Checker but we strongly recommend that you do, so that we can keep you updated on special deals, offers and competitions from the retailers. If you do not have a specific cause that you would like to support, why not choose one of the many causes already registered - click here

Is Price Checker a shop?

No. We don't sell anything, we provide you with information you need to help you purchase what you need at the best price. When you decide to make a purchase, you deal with the retailer, just as you would if you had visited their site directly.

How often are prices updated?

The prices listed on Price Checker are updated regularly. We take the information provided to us by the retailers and may occasionally differ when you reach their site.

What is included in the price displayed?

Retailers display the cost of the item and the shipping costs separately. Prices displayed include any applicable taxes and fees.

Can you give me any tips on successful searching?

Price Checker is a brand new service and we're always striving to improve search results.

Too many results? Be more specific. For example, instead of searching for "TV", search for "TV Sony 37".

Too few results? Check that you are searching in "All Categories" from the drop-down box next to the search button.

What is easyfundraising?

easyfundraising provides a FREE service where you can shop with your favourite online stores and at no extra cost raise funds for any charity, good cause or group you choose to support. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but simply by using the links from our site first, each purchase you make will generate a cash donation to the cause you wish to support.

For example, spend £25 with WH Smith and 3.5% will be donated. You will have raised £0.88, at no extra cost to your purchase. Make any purchase from John Lewis and 2.5% will be donated. Insure your car with Direct Line and raise £35.00, or purchase a mobile phone from O2 and earn £17.50, and so on.

You can shop with over 600 Brand Name retailers and to raise funds you just use the links from our site first - it's that simple!

If you ALREADY shop online, why not help good causes at no extra cost from purchases you would make anyway.

Why do retailers support your fundraising?

It seems very generous, but when you buy online the cost to the retailer is much lower. As there's no shop, salesperson, heating, electricity, rates, not even the cost of the bag to put your goods in, retailers are more than happy to help good causes when new online customers are introduced to them via our website.

Will I pay anything extra?

No. You pay the same prices exactly as if you visited each retailer's website directly. Using our service will not cost you a penny more than you would pay normally.

How much can I raise?

Up to 15% of every purchase is donated, depending on which retailer you select and what you buy. The exact donation that will be paid is displayed directly next to each listing. With some categories such as mobile phones and insurance there is a cash value. If a retailer offers more than one donation, or if there is any special information about the retailer, please click "conditions apply" link situated below a retailer's logo.

Am I dealing with the retailer or with easyfundraising?

You still deal directly with each retailer. We simply record your visit to their website and reward your selected cause if you make any purchases.

Many retailers give exclusive 'Internet-only' discounts, special offers and even money saving 'eVouchers' to our members, so as well as raising funds, you can also use our site to save money.
